Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains what data yfoos.com processes and why.
Who is responsible
The operator of yfoos.com. Contact: babespapes@gmail.com.
What we store
- Account: email address, player name and a hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and a Google account ID from Google, never your password.
- Profile: optional details such as city, country, an approximate location (rounded to about 1 km), position, level, tables, club and bio.
- Profile photo (optional): resized to a square and stored without metadata (such as where it was taken). It is visible to others and is deleted when you remove it or delete your account.
- Places played (optional): photos with a location, venue name, caption and date. They are public on your profile and the map. Location data inside the photo (GPS) is only read to suggest the pin and is not kept in the stored photo.
- Matches: the matches and scores you log, including the partner and opponent names you type in.
- Messages: messages you send to other members.
- Tactics sessions: the last sign shown and a short note. Sessions are deleted after 6 hours of inactivity.
Why and on what basis
We process this data to provide the yfoos features to you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Whether you appear on the map and whether your stats are public is your choice in your profile (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Visibility
Your player name, your profile and, if enabled, your approximate location and your stats are visible to others. Your email address is never shown.
Cookies
We always set strictly necessary cookies: a session cookie that keeps you logged in and a cookie for your language. Your cookie choice is stored locally in your browser. Optional cookies (such as anonymous usage statistics) are only set if you choose "Accept all"; we currently don't use any. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie Settings" at the bottom of every page. No ads.
Third-party services
- OpenStreetMap provides map tiles and place search (Nominatim); your IP address is sent to the OpenStreetMap Foundation.
- Google (optional): sign-in with your Google account when you choose "Continue with Google".
- Railway hosts the application and database.
- Fonts and code libraries are served directly from yfoos.com, not from third-party servers.
Retention and your rights
We keep your data as long as your account exists. You can delete your account at any time from your profile, which also deletes your matches and messages. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability (CSV export on your record page) and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
